Our mission is to ensure that every consumer can make an informed decision when it comes to purchasing health insurance. We execute on this mission through our technology tools, specifically our iPhone/iPad application.
After a few simple questions a consumer can use our application to compare plans in an unparalleled manner. No other tool makes the decision making process of selecting a health plan easy, informative and quick. To accomplish this we’ve developed integrated programs, scoured the web for health data and plan information and developed unique algorithms.
Through testing and experience our tool:
- Simplifies the overwhelming process of navigating Medicare options;
- Enables Medicare beneficiaries to quickly make informed decisions on Medicare-related insurance;
- Provides users with a reference tool to learn and navigate the decision making process;
- Allows Medicare beneficiaries to easily perform side-by-side comparisons of plan’s benefits, costs, and limitations (such as drug quantity limits, prior authorization requests);
- Brings transparency and honesty to the sale of insurance products to help consumers save money on Medicare-related insurance and healthcare.
One study found that Medicare beneficiaries who chose their plan based on total annual cost estimates spent a collective $172 million out-of-pocket, compared to the $205 million spent by seniors who chose the plan with the lowest premium. That’s a difference of 16%.
